Sovman materials planning & sales forecasts can help reduce your stock levels

The Sovman materials planning module will re-order stock based on re-order levels held within the Line 100 stock control record.

A new feature in the Sovman sales forecasts module calculates average weekly demand from past sales or usage. This is used by Sovman to recalulate stock re-order levels, minimum and maximum stocks. This applies to both bought in and manufactured items.

Thus your stock levels can be regularly updated in line with actual usage.

Sovman tracking module links with time recording

The Sovman tracking module will allow the entry of timesheets against works orders to give analyses of actual labour times/costs against standards. Sovman can also be used to clock on and off jobs using PC’s as terminals.

EDS are currently in negotiations with a number of suppliers of time recording systems to provide links with data collection terminals and the tracking module.

Bar coding

Sovman now includes a range of bar coding utilities operated with Symbol hand held scanners. These allow stock to be booked in through goods received and print bar code labels. Stock checks and transfers can be processed through the scanners. Works orders can be recorded and Sage sales orders can be dispatched using scanners.
